ABOUT SWEET-AS CAR HIREOur Mission To supply quality cars at budget prices. Our Service To provide a fast and friendly service... Our staff are ready to put you into the rental vehicle you need today. We MEET YOU PERSONALLY at the airport (we'll have a sign with your name on it), and show you to your car - now that's great service! The key elements to our service are flexibility, speed, efficiency, convenience and value for money. Plus we pride ourselves on our professionalism and attention to the finer details. RENTAL CONDITIONSCurrency and GST All prices quoted on this website are in Australian Dollars (AUD), and INCLUDE GST. Insurance Information Insurance is included in the rental price per day, except for the Excess. You will be liable for the Excess up to but no more than $2500. You only pay what it costs to fix, up to this amount. You can choose to reduce your excess from $2500 to $500, by paying an extra $14 per day. No deposit or bond is required. You may choose to take out travel insurance that includes car hire in Australia to include the cost of potential liability. Any travel agent can organize this for you and most credit cards include this when you use your card to book your flight. Driver's Licence A current Australian, Overseas or International Driver's Licence which has been held for at least 12 months is required. Petrol Petrol is not included in rates and is at renter's expense. Your vehicle is supplied with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. If the fuel tank is not full when returned, we will charge you a $10.00 processing fee, as well as the cost of re-fuelling the tank. Parking and / or Speeding Fines All Parking and / or Speeding Fines are the legal responsibility of the Renter and must be paid by the Renter. We will also charge you a $10.00 processing fee, if you receive a Parking or Speeding fine whilst driving one of our vehicles. Baby and Booster Seats Baby and Booster seats are available for hire for a once only fee of $10.00 - please speak to one of our staff to organise this when making your booking. Airport Levy You will be charged a $30.00 Airport Levy if you pick your vehicle up at Brisbane Domestic or International Airports, or Cooloongatta Airport. Delivery Fees If you wish to pick up or return your vehicle to either Cooloongatta Airport, or Sunshine Coast Airport, a Delivery Fee will apply. If picking up from or returning your vehicle to Cooloongatta Airport, a $30.00 fee applies, each way. If picking up from or returning your vehicle to Sunshine Coast Airport, a $40.00 fee applies, each way. For other locations on the Sunshine Coast, please contact our staff. You are, for example, able to pick up your vehicle from Sunshine Coast Airport ($40.00 fee) and return to Brisbane Airport (no charge). If picking up from or returning your vehicle to a Private Residence or Hotel within Brisbane, a $25 fee applies per pick up or delivery. Road Service 24 Hour Road Side Assistance with RACQ. All major credit cards and cash, EXCEPT for American Express and Diners Club. |
